Valles Wins NYP Honor Monday, August 24th , 2037 A red-hot bat made Carlos Valles the obvious choice for this week's New York-Penn League Player of the Week. The State College first baseman laid down some numbers that no one else could match, including a .500 average on 16 hits in 32 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs, and 7 runs scored. Say no more ... he got the award. Valles on the season is hitting .338 with 14 home runs. His stats include 36 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
