Cardona Cracks 3 HR for Jokers Monday, August 24th , 2037 Fans seated in the bleacher section at Monongalia County Ballpark were taking cover all day long as Sebastian Cardona zeroed in on them, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power. The big game from the Atlantic City first baseman helped the Jokers take the victory, 9-5, over the West Virginia Black Bears. "I told myself not to press on the last one," he told reporters in the postgame press conference. "I knew I couldn't force it -- it has to be a nice easy swing." For the game, he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 5 and scored 3 runs. Sebastian Cardona flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Diego Briseno in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Kenny Moran in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Kenny Moran in the 8th.
