Bang-up Game: Coulson Slams 3 Homers Monday, June 17th , 2052 Jackson Coulson added his name in the record books after an explosive home run spree against the Helena Brewers. But despite joining the select list of sluggers to hit three home runs in a game, it didn't guarantee a victory. The Moose Jaw Diamond Dogs fell to the Brewers, 8-7. In his big day at Kindrick Legion Field, the Moose Jaw first baseman went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and scored 4 times. "It was just one of those days," he told BNN sportswriters in the postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball. "You would think three homers would win most games. It was good to hit 'em, but a win would have really made my day." Jackson Coulson hit a solo-shot off Joseph Boonsook in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Josh Richard in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Russ Stroebel in the 9th. |
