Nowak on a Hot Streak, APP Player of the Week Monday, July 28th , 2036 22-year-old Howard Nowak made a few Pulaski headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Appalachian League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .591 average. Nowak collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Nowak on the season is hitting .322 with 4 home runs.
