De Alba Slaps 5 Hits Wednesday, July 30th , 2036 Júlio De Alba was at the head of a Great Falls hit parade today at Suplizio Field. The right fielder went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Voyagers to a 13-5 victory over the Grand Junction Rockies. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging De Alba told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Rockies skipper Bobby Chaffin said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Júlio De Alba singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 11th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
