Bulldogs Blanked by Herrera, 3-0 Tuesday, June 20th , 2062 The Reidsville Red Sox shut out the Blue Ridge Bulldogs, 3-0, behind the strong pitching of Luke Herrera. Herrera surrendered only 5 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 3. Following the last out, Herrera appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Blue Ridge manager Wynn Love, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. Herrera's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Bulldogs skipper would not comment on the exchange but, at the Red Sox press conference, Herrera confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.
