PIO's Best Player, Galvez of Grand Junction Monday, August 11th , 2036 Aarón Galvez of the Grand Junction Rockies had a super week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Pioneer League. The 20-year-old left fielder put up a .524 average with a .615 on-base percentage, racking up 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Thus far this season in 44 games Galvez is batting .308 with 13 home runs, 36 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 52 hits in 169 at-bats. |
