Blue Jays Lee Out Rest Of Season
Thursday, August 21st , 2036
Bluefield reliever Conan Lee could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. He exited yesterday's Danville game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Lee would be out 12 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

To date in the season, Lee is 1-0 with 6 relief appearances and no saves. He has held opposing batters to a .212 average, pitched 9 innings, struck out 15 and walked 2 while recording a 2.00 ERA.
