Pocatello Won't Make Playoffs Tuesday, August 26th , 2036 A late-season playoff push is not in the cards for the Pocatello Pioneers. The club today was mathematically knocked out of playoff contention. "There are a lot of long faces around right now," said Pioneers manager Juan Rosado. "You know in your head that every year, most teams in baseball have to go through this, but it still hurts when you realize you've lost your shot at a title." Pocatello hasn't yet made it to the postseason. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 33 seasons in the R+. |
