Hendrix Strokes 5 Hits Friday, July 9th , 2038 Rikki Hendrix was at the head of a Rocky Mountain hit parade today at Moose Jaw Grounds. The center fielder went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Vibes to a 12-5 victory over the Moose Jaw Diamond Dogs. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Hendrix told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Diamond Dogs skipper Luis Ramirez said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Rikki Hendrix singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Melvin Missel in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
