Mountaineers on to League Championship Series Tuesday, September 9th , 2036 The Erwin Mountaineers out-dueled and outgunned the Fayetteville Frogs in the Wild Card Series and are on to the next round. Erwin won the final game 6-5 at Ballpark of Edmonton and the series 3-1. Yesus Vincente was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the Wild Card Series. He had a .312 average with a .312 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs. "I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the League Championship Series," he said. The Erwin Mountaineers don't know who they will face in the next round.
