Chukars Jerry Campbell Sidelined Tuesday, September 9th , 2036 A blow for Jerry Campbell today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 10 months with a damaged elbow ligament. Campbell suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Idaho Falls Chukars are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Campbell's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Campbell has 2 home runs and a .297 batting average. |
