APP Names Rumblers Dean Winner Monday, July 26th , 2038 This week Appalachian League pitching was a feast fit for a king and Jimmy Dean really made the most of it -- ripping them royally. The talented River City hitting machine produced a .414 batting average, 7 home runs, 12 hits in 29 at-bats, 14 RBIs and 9 runs. That kind of hitting earned him the APP Player of the Week honors. Thus far this season Dean is hitting .338 with 19 home runs, 37 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 45 hits in 133 at-bats and has played in 32 games. |
