Frogs Clinch Wild Card Wednesday, August 30th , 2062 It was no easy task for the Fayetteville Frogs to capture a wild card spot, but the team's players can now breathe easy, knowing they will be a part of the Rookie Advanced postseason. "They made us work for it. There aren't many easy games in the Appalachian League," said left fielder L.C. Callaghan. "We would have liked to have won our way into the playoffs sooner, but we'll take it." The team's record currently sits at 40-27 and they will be vying for the 4th Rookie Advanced championship in franchise history. |
