Ryan Hurls Black Diamonds to 4-0 Shutout Win Tuesday, July 18th , 2051 Walton Ryan held the Burlington Sock Puppets to 4 hits and fashioned a fine 4-0 shutout at Howard Johnson Field today. Speaking after the game, Lethbridge Black Diamonds manager Phil Edwards said "Ryan had everything going for him today. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement. He was masterful." Ryan rung up 9 strikeouts and surrendered 2 walks in the game. "We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Burlington manager Jon Lopez told reporters.
