Hackl on Fire: Burns Burlington with 3 HR Saturday, July 22nd , 2051 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Jonathan Hackl discovered that today at Pioneer Park, as he smashed three home runs during the 15-3 Harlan Smokies win over the Burlington Royals. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Harlan third baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Hackl finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 5 RBIs. Jonathan Hackl struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Martin Mauricio in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Ethan Poland in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ethan Poland in the 8th. To date this season Hackl is hitting .322 with 10 home runs. |
