Harlan right fielder D.J. Taylor thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Harlan to a 15-3 win over Burlington. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Taylor said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Taylor was 3-for-4 on the day with 4 RBI. D.J. Taylor hit a two-run home run off Julian Moore in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ethan Poland in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ethan Poland in the 7th. This year Taylor has socked 27 hits in 103 at-bats for a .262 average with 13 home runs. He is getting on base at a .379 pace and his totals also include 26 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
