Torrid July Gets Silver PIO #1 Batter Trophy Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 At only 21 years of age, Steve Silver could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Casper Ghosts, as July was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the Pioneer League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .426 with 13 home runs, 29 RBIs and 27 runs scored. Batting .398 to date, Silver has 14 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
