Diamond Dogs Torpedoed by Baca in 4-0 Loss to Casper
Wednesday, June 24th , 2037
All went well for Aimar Baca of the Casper Ghosts as he pitched his team to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Moose Jaw Diamond Dogs, limiting them to 4 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Baca on the day.
"Aimar's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Ghosts manager Sean Hasenstab. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."
In the contest, the Casper right-hander rang up 13 and surrendered no walks.
"He didn't give us any second chances," said Diamond Dogs manager Jon Wright. "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
