Historic Day: Floyd Jolts 4 HR Monday, September 3rd , 2035 Chuck Floyd victimized Lethbridge Black Diamonds hurlers today, smashing 4 home runs in a herculean effort that will go down in the Pioneer League record books. In an epic hitting spree at Howard Johnson Field, the Casper third baseman went downtown again and again, leading the Ghosts to a 23-8 triumph. He went 4-for-5, drove in 9 runs and scored 6 times in the historic game. "The first ones just happened," he said later, discussing the game. "However, that last time, I was swinging for the fences -- and WHAM -- I nailed it." Chuck Floyd flied out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jackson Wilkins in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jackson Wilkins in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jacob Erber in the 6th, walked in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Troy Carley in the 9th.
