Player of the Week Trophy to Pabon Monday, August 14th , 2051 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Appalachian League Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Rafael Pabon for his great week at the plate. The Harlan second baseman took home the trophy by banging out 13 hits in 31 at-bats for a .419 batting average, driving in 9 runs and scoring 10 times. This year Pabon is hitting .278 with 11 home runs and 32 RBIs in 46 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .350 with 20 walks and 33 runs scored. |
