Pioneer League Announces Best Starter Friday, September 1st , 2051 The Pioneer League scribes have picked August's Pitcher of the Month and have given the trophy to Cápulet Jaramillo of Pueblo. He was devastating on the mound last month with a standout 4-0 mark. The Indians star hurler made 5 starts with a 0.83 ERA and surrendered 19 hits in 32.2 innings. He struck out 24 and walked 13. Over the season Jaramillo has thrown 62.1 innings and dished out 54 strikeouts with a 7-2 mark and a 2.17 ERA. |
