Grand Junction Sweeps into the League Championship Series Monday, September 5th , 2039 The Grand Junction Rockies have swept the Rocky Mountain Vibes and are on to the League Championship Series. Grand Junction won 4-1 today at Ballpark of Portsmouth to clinch the Wild Card Series. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Grand Junction center fielder Razor Zachariassen, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Zachariassen won the award with a .583 batting average and a .615 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Grand Junction Rockies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Pueblo Indians - Great Falls Voyagers series. Great Falls leads the series 2 games to 1.
