Asper Picks Up Best PIO Batter Honors for August Thursday, September 1st , 2067 Mithrándir Asper may be much younger than other hitters in the Pioneer League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 19-year-old Ogden third baseman hit .402 with 9 home runs, 33 RBIs and 30 runs scored. Asper is currently batting .341 with 14 home runs, 58 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has 75 hits in 220 at-bats. |
