Erasmus Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 29 Saturday, August 11th , 2063 Chima Erasmus's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 29 games, as the Hampton Orioles dropped their contest with the Danville Braves, 4-1, at American Legion Field. Erasmus failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-2. After the game Erasmus spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Thus far this season, Erasmus has hit .345 with 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 20 times. |
