Season-Ending Injury for Diego Briseno Saturday, August 12th , 2034 The season is apparently over for Diego Briseno. The Pembroke Pines Herons medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 6-7 months with a torn labrum. Briseno was hurt in the game against West Palm Beach while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season Briseno has worked 44 innings with 36 strikeouts en route to a 1-5 record and a 3.27 ERA. |
