Ceballos Raps Peoria for 5 Hits Thursday, July 11th , 2030 The Tempe Impalas stopped the Peoria Pride by a score of 6-5 at Peoria Sports Complex today, with the lion's share of the credit going to center fielder Santiago Ceballos. The 20-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Ceballos said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Ceballos did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Pride. "Not much that I can say," offered Peoria manager Pete Alcorn. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Santiago Ceballos singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Sherm RamÃrez in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
