Jackson Garners FLA Batter of the Month Award Friday, September 1st , 2034 Peanut Jackson put together a good August to earn the Florida Rookie League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Oviedo officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Catch catcher posted a .300 batting average with 7 home runs, 27 RBIs and 20 runs scored. For the year Jackson has hit at a .299 clip with 34 RBIs, 10 home runs and 26 runs scored. |
