Aguilar Chosen July's Best FLA Hurler Thursday, August 1st , 2030 The top pitcher this past month in the Florida Rookie League was Bobby Aguilar of the Boca Raton Buccaneers. He really bewildered league hitters, finishing July with an excellent 5-0 record and 3.63 ERA. The Buccaneers hurler made 6 starts and surrendered 41 hits in 34.2 innings. He struck out 27 and walked 13. To date this season Aguilar sports a 6-0 mark with a 3.38 ERA in 8 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .286 batting average and has 44 strikeouts in 45.1 innings. |
