No Late-Season Magic Coming: Daytona Beach Out of Playoffs Friday, September 6th , 2030 Daytona Beach Hurricanes manager Joey Sorenson said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. Daytona Beach last appeared in the postseason in 2024. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 23 times in their 27 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Hurricanes have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
