Buccaneers Are Champs of Florida Rookie League Southeast Division Friday, September 6th , 2030 The Boca Raton Buccaneers may have had some self-doubt, but in the end they have prevailed as Florida Rookie League Southeast Division champions. "When the standings are as close as they have been in the final days of the season, you start to wonder - can we really do this?" said starting pitcher Jason Geddis. "Thankfully I think everyone still believed and we got it done." It's now off to the postseason, where the team will be trying to win the Rookie Championship Series for the 7th time. The division title was the 22nd for the Buccaneers. |
