Pitcher of the Year Award Winner Announced Sunday, October 6th , 2030 Alfonzo Nater of the Flagstaff Blue Devils has been selected the premier pitcher in the Arizona Rookie League and will receive the Pitcher of the Year Award for 2030. The top vote-getter completed the year with a 5-3 record. He started 15 times, threw 84.2 innings, chalked up 96 strikeouts and 31 walks, limited hitters to a .246 batting average and posted an impressive 3.08 ERA. He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 36. Chris Reynolds of the Glendale Gauchos finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Trevor Bower of the Tempe Impalas finished third with 4 first place votes.
