Hammerheads Cruise to League Championship Series with Sweep Monday, September 6th , 2038 It was a sweet sweep for the Cape Coral Hammerheads as they eased past the Key Largo Fighting Shrimp to advance to the League Championship Series. Cape Coral won the final game by a 7-4 count and the series 3-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Fred Baltzer, who was named series MVP. For the series, Baltzer hit .556 with a .692 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Cape Coral Hammerheads will play against the Oviedo Catch in the next round.
