Bone Has Hot Hand, Bangs 6 hits Wednesday, July 2nd , 2031 Speaking with reporters after a dominating hitting performance, Ollie Bone said his club's tilt with the Oviedo Catch "felt almost like batting practice." The 19-year-old center fielder went a remarkable 6-for-6 at the plate. "I saw the ball well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted," he recalled later. However, his sensational day wasn't enough for the Clearwater Threshers, who were topped by the Catch, 16-11. "It's a good lesson for him, I guess," Threshers manager Nate Fort said. "Sometimes Ollie is going to lose. But I would rather him go 6-for-6 and lose than go 0-for-6 and lose." Ollie Bone singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jaylon Abdul-Aziz in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
