Cape Coral Hammerheads Mathematically Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 15th , 2035 The Cape Coral Hammerheads can give up their playoff chase and focus on simply winning some games, because today it became official that they have been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. The Hammerheads have missed the playoffs 31 times in their 32 years as a Rookie Complex League - U22 franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 21st in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2014. Cape Coral has won the Rookie Championship Series 10 times in their history. |
