Leclerc Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, July 12th , 2031 The Phoenix Armadillos stopped the Yuma Gnomes today 8-7 and Harlan Leclerc collected a base hit yet again. The Phoenix second baseman finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 36. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Leclerc told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Harlan Leclerc singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
