Year Over for Swordfish Cuevas Tuesday, July 30th , 2047 Yobel Cuevas has to call it a season. The Florence Swordfish starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Peoria Pride and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Cuevas was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11 months. To date this season, Cuevas has a record of 1 win and 2 losses and a 7.85 ERA. He has appeared in 7 games and struck out 21 in 18.1 innings. |
