Cervezas Maffucci Suffers Setback Monday, October 2nd , 2051 Scott Maffucci, left fielder for the Oaxaca Cervezas, was making great progress in healing hamstring tendinitis according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Scott was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least one week before he will be able to rejoin the club." During the current season Maffucci is batting at a .292 clip with 19 home runs and 72 RBIs. He has played in 93 games and scored 58 times. |
