Coblentz King of Fling with No-Hitter Thursday, July 12th, 2007 Excitement reigned at Ballpark of Aguascalientes today as Quintana Roo Tigres hurler Jared Coblentz tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter. After defeating the Aguascalientes Rieleros, 2-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments. "I'm just glad to be here," Coblentz said. "Today I just went right at the Rieleros as hard as I could, as long as I could." Coblentz chalked up 4 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks in his superb performance. "I don't think they could have stopped him with a howitzer today," said Quintana Roo manager Luis Dircio. In 17 starts this season Coblentz has notched a 5-7 record and a 4.79 ERA.
