Guadalajara Blanks Rieleros, Mitchell Wins Friday, August 3rd, 2007 Today was Jim Mitchell's turn in the rotation for the Guadalajara Chupacabras and he made the most of it, shutting out the Aguascalientes Rieleros on 6 hits. The 28-year-old left-hander led the Chupacabras to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing 2 walks and tallying 6 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Aguascalientes manager Joe Sheffer said. "Mitchell certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
