Levine's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Saturday, August 4th, 2007 Tim Levine of the Guadalajara Chupacabras tagged 2 hits in today's 7-3 loss to the Campeche Piratas at Ballpark of Campeche to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Tim Levine was hit by a pitch in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. To date this season Levine is hitting .301 with 4 home runs. |
