Piratas End Levine's Streak Monday, August 6th, 2007 Tim Levine of the Guadalajara Chupacabras came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 21 games. Making matters even worse for the third baseman, Guadalajara dropped the game to the Campeche Piratas 6-0. "It was not a good day today," Levine told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." So far this year Levine has hit .298 with 4 home runs, 38 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
