Monclova, Yucatan Trade Players Wednesday, August 15th, 2007 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. Monclova has worked out terms of a deal to send 31-year-old 3B Chris Holmes to Yucatan for 30-year-old 2B Mike Lane. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. Yucatan will retain a portion of Lane's remaining contract. This year Holmes has hit 9 home runs and posted a .228 batting average. Lane's current batting average stands at .263 and he has chalked up 10 home runs and 43 RBIs. |
