Laguna Befuddled by Vosika Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 The Laguna Vaqueros struggled at the plate today against Guerreros hurler Jeremy Vosika, who shackled them on 8 hits while hurling a complete game 12-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Vaqueros skipper Pabiyan Hudyaev in his postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Vosika finished the game with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," Oaxaca manager Jorge Castillo said. "Jeremy made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively." So far this season, Vosika has logged a 9-8 record with a 3.18 ERA.
