Season Over for Sam Estrada in Saltillo Wednesday, September 12th, 2007 When Saltillo starting pitcher Sam Estrada was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Saraperos-Rojos del Aguila game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Estrada had sustained a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 12 months. On the season Estrada has 7 wins and 5 losses and a 3.58 ERA. |
