Mexico Won't Make Playoffs Sunday, September 16th, 2007 Even the most die-hard fans of the Mexico Diablos Rojos will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Diablos Rojos starting pitcher Whip Trudel. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." This is the 3rd time in a row that the Diablos Rojos have missed the playoffs. Their last payoff appearance was in 2004. |
