Mazatlan Eliminated from Playoff Contention Sunday, September 16th, 2007 Kymani Gadsen said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Mazatlan Mariachis after they missed the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the 2nd time in a row that the Mariachis have missed the playoffs. Their last payoff appearance was in 2005. |
