Juan Ortega Injured, Out for Year Sunday, September 16th, 2007 The Mexico City Conquistadores were dealt a blow today when reliever Juan Ortega left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Ortega has suffered a torn meniscus and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. On the year, Ortega has recorded 1 save with a 4-1 record over 46.1 innings. He has mowed down 51 batters on strikes and walked 8 with an ERA of 1.75. |
