Laguna's Shellabarger Will Miss Season Monday, September 17th, 2007 Tommie Shellabarger has to call it a season. The Laguna Vaqueros starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Puebla Pericos and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Shellabarger was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 14 months. This season Shellabarger has a 4-4 record with a 3.55 ERA in 7 starts. |
