Blast Off! 3 HR for Mota Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 Saltillo shortstop Sergio Mota led the Saraperos to a 13-7 triumph over the Mexico City Conquistadores, crushing three home runs. "He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Saltillo skipper Matt Hillstrom. Indeed, Mota put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 3 runs and 6 RBIs. "I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Mota said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em." Sergio Mota hit a two-run home run off Juan Caratti in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Dan Oakes in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Arturo Huerta in the 9th.
